WEST GREY, ON – MacLean’s Ales, the new brewery from veteran brewmaster Charles MacLean (known for his work at F&M Brewery, Wellington Brewery and others), officially opened this past weekend with a special invitation event. The afternoon featured an opening presentation by Larry Miller, the Member of Parliament for Bruce Grey Owen Sound, followed by a sampling of several of MacLean’s beers.
The brewery is now open to visitors and customers on Saturdays from 12 noon to 5 PM, and also on Fridays from 12 noon to 8 PM starting July 3rd. The brewery is in a fairly remote location in West Grey Municipality, so those planning to visit are advised to call ahead (519-369-5061) to confirm directions.
