NANIMO, BC – Troy Burtch at Great Canadian Pubs and Beer reports that Nanimo’s Fat Cat Brewery is closing down.
Bunny Goodman, the Operations Manager for the brewery, tells Burtch that they had to be out of their current location by July 31st due to problems with the landlord, and hoped to find a new location to continue brewing, but it wasn’t possible so they’ve made the decision to shut down.
Fat Cat’s brewing equipment is now up for sale on ProBrewer.com, and all serious inquiries are welcome.
